#wanderingseouls DAY 53 OF 139 / Hongdae foodie tour

So Wenmin and I met a new friend from NTU NBS from our lessons and Teddy stays at Hongdae and is really a foodie that knows where all the good food are! We arranged to meet up one day for him to bring us around the hipster Hongdae.

Ever since I came to Korea, the one thing that I crave much was Thai food!! I was constantly thinking about the Pad Thai from Aloy Thai (missing the last session I had with st and darren oppa hehe), Tomyum soup from Nakhon ahhhhh. Apparently some of our fellow Singaporeans went to this best thai food restaurant in Seoul so Teddy brought us there yayyy

It's walking distance from Hongdae Exit 1 (I think I forgot already) but it takes some effort to find since it's at a basement storey

After 1.5hours of waiting, (YES THE QUEUE ON THE WAITING LIST WAS PRETTY INSANE?), we finally got our seats and closer to probably the best tomyum soup I've ever tasted besides the one I had in chatuchak ages ago. It's sour and spicy but not too overwhelming? Wow I can't really describe how touched I was to taste such good thai food away from SEA :')

We also ordered Basil Pork Fried Rice, Beef Pad Thad, and some really nice garlic kangkong (the taste of home omggggg). The restaurant is run by authentic Thai chefs so I guess that explains why it's so good it easily tops some best Thai food I've ever eaten ahhhh

Next up on Teddy Foodie Tour, desserts!!! We went to this LadyM-lookalike shop that sells similar cakes - BillyAngel and had their caramel cake, mille crepe, grapefruitade and lemonade (wenmin is a diehard fan of ade-s now) and they're all reallyyyy pretty decent.

For the first time in a really long time, I feel sosososososo satisfied with the food despite the big hole in my pocket hehehe enjoyed the great night with y'all foodies!
