It's a date with dear Wen Min today and we headed to Sinchon which is only a stop away from E-dae where many universities are located. There weren't much nearby so we walked to edae for a quick shopping.
On the way we passed by this quaint cafe at a corner and there were little kittens inside! It was a cat cafe and they don't charge any entrance fee! We were craving for some dessert so it doesn't hurt to have a tea time with kitties lying around us :b
The interior of the cafe is really cosy and we climbed up to the 2nd level with lotsa of kitties simply lazing around!
Say hi to the first kitty named an-gyeong (means spectacles) that came to drink from our cups hehe
There's this kitten that kept sleeping beside us throughout and she was such a cutie! She's really tiny and playful hehe we made some roses out of napkins and she tore all of them apart and even accidentally scratched me with her sharp claws but I still love her little paws #pawfetish
This angry looking kitty that just collapsed half of the time we were sitting beside her HAHA
There you see, she's looks so angry the whole timeeee
Finally our oreo patbingsu arrived! It's so-so, a little expensive since it's for 2 pax at 10900KRW but I guess it's pretty worth it since we didn't have to pay any entrance fee!
Picture these 2 kitties below... EXPRESSIONLESS CATS.
HAHAHA so cute right haha the kitty was perma in the same trance ._. We plucked up courage to carry a cat not knowing how they'd react and they just froze in our hands. SO SOFTTTTT!
There were lotsa of cats around so most customers can have their chance to touch/play with a cat anytime, so much better than the dog cafe I've been to in Singapore!
And heres my favourite little winky one, standing so prettily at the door :)
After edae, we headed to Hyehwa which is another hapz place with tons of universities around. There were lots of pretty boutiques/cafes/theatres so it was really nice! It took us a long time to decide what to eat and finally decided on this place that sold chicken stew!
We ordered this spicy chicken stew and the waitress asked us if we wanted sides since it's quite spicy but we declined (save money lol). The food in Korea is normally okay-spicy so we weren't expected much but we asked for less spicy since she warned us. HERE COMES THE DEVIL
It's a little like gong bao ji ding but IT'S SO FREAKING SPICY. It's easily the spiciest dish I've ever had and we felt so numb eating it. Halfway throughout our ears were blocked and we felt seh as if we drank it was insane. For the first time I felt drunk from spiciness HAHAHA. I do think I'm someone that can take spicy okay but this is the bombz :') It tastes pretty good actually but I don't think we would torture ourselves again hahaha. We ended ordering more side dishes like steamed egg and rice to neutralize LOLOL.
New found pleasant hideout at Hyehwa, thanks Wen Min for bringing me there hehe had a great time with you :D
