#wanderingseouls Day 15 - 18 OF 143 / First Week of School

All of us had two weeks of fun and it's time to settle down for the aim of the trip (at least that's what politically correct), to STUDY! It's the first week of school in a gorgeous campus in Korea University :) It takes approx 15min walk to get from our hostel to the Business school so it's really convenient!

There we go, Korea University Business School, KUBS.

Lessons are conducted in 1h15min sessions and I've 3 sessions everyday from Mon-Thu, with days starting 1030am and 9am on alternate days. Most lessons are conducted by Korean professors so the English may be heavily accented and a little hard to catch at times. Classes are filled about 40% with exchange students as most Koreans would take Korean modules and are only required to fulfill a certain number of modules in English.

I had my first lunch at a cafeteria in Biz school, Rabbokki, a combination of Ramyun and Ddeokbookki! It's carbs overload but not bad for 3500 KRW!

Ended my day by having a soft serve ice cream waffle treat near our place on the way home!

Sorry that I took a bite before taking the photo hahah, it's strawberry and vanilla soft serve waffle for only 1000KRW (S$1.20)!! #shiokseumnida~

I ended earlier on Day 2 so I decided to give Edae another chance for shopping and gave myself some me-time which I needed badly, therapeutic! Lotsa of street food and shoppingggg

This chicken stewer is 2000KRW (S$2.50) with cheese, chilli and mayo sprinkles~ It's a tad spicy but really good and juicy!

I needed something sweet to curb to spicyness so Hoddeok is it! I love hoddeok and this one is different from the one we had previously as it has the lava syrup in it OHHH SO GOOD. The ahjussi was kind enough to give me 3/4 of a plain hoddeok as service so it's almost 1+1 for only 1000KRW!

Starting Day 3 of school with this pair of cutie socks, featuring MEEEE! Haha yes yes for those that don't know, I'm like known around my friends as Ariel ever since I had the curly red hair last year :b

Lunch in school, first fast food meal in Seoul! The burget was mediocre but fries was so gooddddd

Ever since we're here, we've overspent so much on shopping/travel that we are scrimping on food by buying groceries and making our own meals. Here's one of my chinese stir fry teeheee. Apparently some of my friends said it tasted really good even though I kinda impromptu the dish HAHA #masterchefinthemaking

Packed half for lunch the next day and another fried with rice!

Day 4 was spent day in school > hostel > dinner > supposedly cheering orientation. Haha but we screwed the last schedule of the day and you'll find out real soon. Sherri and I headed to a restaurant near our house that sells really good stew.

Here's our spicy pork rib stew which was sooooo good!!!

And here's the reason why I couldn't make it to the cheering orientation in school... Hi rice wine, you're so addictively smooth and sweet but you made me drunk. for. the. first. time. YES GUYS I KNOW I SUCK. Hahaha God knows why I've such pathetic alcohol tolerance when my dad can really drink. I gulped 3 bowls down and within the next 30min after the meal, I felt dizzy and nauseous in the end and yes I'm pretty sure I don't have to go into details #MerlionInSeoul

Evidence of my hideous Asian Flush

Just 10 minutes before my crime, I was trying to set the fashion trend yo.

I'm really sorry that this post is kinda mundane since it's mainly about my daily routine to and fro school so there's really not much, but next few posts is gonna get exciting since the following week is a public holiday and it means time to travel! :D
