Hello to waking up in Seoul again! We decided on a chill weekend first as weather is still pretty hot to hike/travel far and there aren't many pretty beaches near Seoul. Had a great shopping trip again back at Express Bus Terminal where we really slowly combed the place and got some good buys. I spent the most today: 2 dresses for 5000won ($6.20 ea), a pair of sandals for 5000won, a pair of shorts for 8500 won ($10), a backpack + knit top + dungaree + 2 piece set for 10000won ($12.50 ea)! Total damage around $80? Oh well I guess all these are investment since the fashion is gradually transitioning to autumn and there won't be any clothes for me to wear back in Singapore if I buy later :(
We had a really budget meal on sushi roll from 7-11. Speaking of which the convenience stores here are such love. They sell lovely items like kimbab and sandwiches for really affordable prices <$2, and awesome flavoured coffee. Ahhh this is something I'll sure miss, and they stock up fresh bakery bread daily too! A little tired of Paris Baguette, there's one near our hostel but it's just mediocre ):
Anyway back to topic, we headed to Hangang via Yeorinaru after shopping and wanted to cycle but the weather was so hot and we were all pretty shagged. Ended up eating our snacks bought from the convenience stall along hangang and the breeze became rather cool or maybe even chilly in the evening! #shiokseumnida hehehe! Definitely gotta come back for some water activities/cycling soon when the weather is nicer and less hazy!
Wearing the new cap I got from Dong Dae Mun yesterday for only 5000won!
Taking selfie like a legit Korean (Y)! Anyway while I was shopping today, one salesperson told me my Korean was really good HAHAHA *flips x cartwheels x 10000000*
Tired us just hoboing along hangang that's really crowded with people, buskers and tents!
