I'm a really blessed child indeed. Today marks my 22nd year on existence on this beautiful Earth created by our glorious Lord and I'm thankfully blessed with the people I have around me :')
My 21st wasn't exactly mundane as I thought it would be. I've had my best time of my life over summer, forging some precious friendships I'll hold close to my entire lifetime, finding special people in my life. I've also had a fair share of fun despite the pains and efforts spent over the past year and reaped what I sowed.
It's also a year that I've started to know more about myself and what I want. I've been building on my interests and grow spiritually on my own. Picking up new sports in Pilates and even working more on my interest for music has been rewarding too. Noticing a clearer direction in life and future career gets me really hyped up too, even though it isn't yet clear how they could be achieved. Nevertheless, I'm really glad that I've been able to propel forward and learn so much more than I've ever did before.
Most importantly, it's a year that I finally realised it's time for me to talk the walk with God closely, to know Him, and do things in His honour. I can never be happier than how I am now, to experience His everlasting love, and will continue to do so and pray to encounter Him, grow in a loving relationship with Him.
So my coming-of-age was indeed pretty rewarding after all :) Despite being reluctant to be associate with being 'old', I guess I can live with the idea of aging gracefully. I'm so excited about what life ahead would bring for me, living the plan God has crafted for me even before I existed. I know life ahead is only going to be awesome because I will not be alone on this journey of self discovery.
On a side note, I'm also really thankful for my friends that took the time to surprise me on this very special day. It's currently the Week 12 of the sem and everyone is all bogged down with deadlines and tests. Including myself, having a project meeting till 5am and surviving with minimal sleep, I was very much sprouting nonsense the entire day haha. & then a group of darlings appeared to surprise me at my supposed project meeting and I was genuinely surprised taking no hints prior to it. To my defense I was really tired and couldn't process any thoughts properly alright hehe. Anyway thanks to all that celebrated or wanted but couldn't do so, and the well wishes I truly appreciate! :')
To many more years ahead of youthful aging to come! :)
