'Painting my room' Project
For like the longest time ever, I've always wanted to paint my rooms. I live in a 4-room flat, 3 people and 1 dog. So if you think of it, I actually have 1 extra room. & even since we moved in 15 years ago, that room had been left rather untouched. Since we didn't think of what we can do of it, the room is pretty empty when we first moved in.
As I get older, I started using a desktop and that's when the room got filled up with a desktop table so it's like a computer room. When I was young, I also had my tuition there in a small table. But that's about it, the room barely had anything much. Afterwards, I got a keyboard which cost like close to $200 but not that I really can play so it's very wasted, and it's left in that room as well.
Since sip ended, I'm left with time to slack at home after like close to a year of work/school, so I thought I should make good use of this time lah. Anyway up till now, I still think I'm bravegirl1992. I mean, no girls will offer to paint their own rooms lah, at least not most. Can I use this as an excuse to prove that I'm not a bimbo? HEHHE!
Used Nippon Paint Odourless (The one with the Sharpei dog wearing mask and the wrestler advertising)
It took me like 1 day to finish! I was all alone at home so I could enlist no help, and my dog could only stare outside the room. I locked myself in the room with a gate thingy because I dont want a pink dog... hahah!
I tell you, it's freaking tiring! Worth it but still, damn mad exhausting. Have to move heavy furnitures around myself, climb up and down the ladder to paint. I even lost my balance once and bruised my index nail in order to prevent myself from falling off the ladder. ):
Hard work paid off anyway! Tada! My dad did come back in the afternoon during his break time to see if I needed any help to move those furnitures though :D Colour not true to picture because the painting was still wet.
My dog, the first to camwhore with new room colour! I think my dog is damn gay because I really thinks he love pink just like me. He super love all his pink toys one. Perhaps I made him that way hahahaha :/
Days after my painting of room, mummy & I went to pick furnitures at IKEA! We needed to bigger wardrobe and a desk. We also bought some nonsense things to put in my new bookcase :D
Super pretty DIY Ikea boxes and flowers! I freaking love geneva :P
& we actually went Ikea both on Sat & Sun. First to Tamp one but it's made crowded there which made shopping unproductive. Next day we headed to Alexandra one which was so so so much better. Food there got better deals too lol!
Then yesterday, delivery day! We spent like up to $1930 for the wardrobe, bookcase plus attached desk, computer swivel chair, mirror and some nonsense attached items, and of course delivery and assembly fee.
This is the before, erm the desk damn cluttered and messy because we shifted everything from another desk onto this desktop table to make space la lol.
Waited for some time before the delivery guys came. They mad organised and efficient while assembling! Super impressed!
& TADAAAAA! The room I'm super proud of! All packed, and picked by me. The bookcase is also used to put my bags (copy xiaxue one lolol), super useful pls! I'm not yet done packing when the picture was taken lah ignore the printer at the floor pls lol! White swivel chair, chio ttm right!!!
After all the trouble, my dog super attention grabbing one. He insists on climbing up the explore and ended up become one of the exhibit in the bookcase lol!
