"This seat is taken by my friend, she just went to the toilet."Is this sentence in any way offensive? I don't find any problem with it but the teacher flared up at me today. Damn suay. All I wanted to do was to inform her and had no other intentions! Perhaps my friend commented something else and she thought I was the one that said it. She humiliated me in front of the whole class even though I was just being nice to inform her. I'm damn innocent but I became a scapegoat. Sighs. ):
