I smell freedom! :D

Exams are finally over on Monday! I still love LWL after all, he wasn't that evil and the paper was manageable except for a few careless mistakes. & there goes Sem 2.1! I can still remember the first day of school at tp during week zero orientation, and now I've finished half of my poly life! It sounds slow though, since most of the jc friends are already graduation this year, and we poly people are still halfway through only!

After APADM, few of us girls went to Swensen's at TM for a lunch treat for ourselves! The one-for-one lunch treat, hahaha! Had main, sides, and ice cream! Didn't know ice cream wasn't included in the one-for-one though. We had one macadamia and another one was sticky chewy choc. The macadamia one had taste of durian, which I suppose they mixed the containers up. Requested for a change but it was still the same! It was alright for me since I'm also a durian lover but not for others uh :P Had a great feast and shopped around at TM!

TUESDAY
Was supposed to have our BS outing with Eileen and Joce! Postponed to Thurs instead due to sth. Instead, I went to meet Mummy in the evening to try out this Taiwan Food fair at Clarke Quay. I'm always a big fan of Taiwan snacks 'cos I always happen to watch 食尚玩家 and the food they introduce are always superrrr tempting that makes me real hungry! Was really excited to know about this TW food fair and had to go down to try! :D

Photos below credits to MYMY cos I didn't bring my cam and took any photos that day.

They sold tickets at $10, bought one to try first.

Left: Oyster Omelette
Right: Smelly tofu

There wasn't much queue yet I supposed cos it was a weekday. I would say I was rather disappointed with the food there. It's seriously highly priced, not worth it. The oyster omelette without much ingredients actually costs $6. I think i can get one in sg hawker with lots of oyster and egg with $6! But since it's taiwan style, worth giving it a try if you wanna know how different taiwan's oyster omelette is diff from ours :) It's alright despite being a bit tasteless.

On the other hand, I was rather satisfied with the smelly tofu! I wonder if it's the authentic smelly tofu cos it doesnt have much smell, except for the taste which i liked :) First time trying it, really makes me wanna go taiwan to try the soup ones as well! It's quite expensive also I suppose, few small tofu for $3!

& yes, now that we've spent $9, we only have the $1 left with us, which of course could not get us any food! We ended up buying a $1 voucher from a nice auntie and got a pepper bun which was quite nice :) Didnt see the need to get anymore vouchers because the things are rather overrated. Really hope to have the chance soon to visit Taiwan personally soon tho :D

Of course with that little food, we didnt had our fill for dinner and headed to Song Fa Bak Kut Te opp Central. I supposed that's a rather reowned one because it did appear in several tv shows. Satisfied with the food there, relatively good standard C:

WEDNESDAY
Rotted at home (my favourite hobby hahaha wth) and had dinner at the French Stall again! Tried this super big steak that weighed like 1.1kg! Normally one serving is almost about 200g, and now the 1.1kg was gonna split into 3 servings. LOL. It was costly too, like around $116! It was the first time I had a steak that was like almost 2.5cm high! Haha but I think it's alright only, it was a fat cow! ><

THURSDAY
Yeah finally my long awaited BS shopping!!! As usual my dearrrr princess eileen was late! Hahaha waited for her like 45min! Met jocejoce darling and started our shopping! Idk why but we shopped really fast this time and even did a 2nd round! Wasn't on my shopping streak and ended up buying a top only. Really liked it though! :D I find it really amazing but in alot of ways, I'm actually really similar to Eileen! Even though we didn't know each other for long, we have super lots of things in common! We live super near, we have 'fish' as our nicknames, we have super long hair of almost same length, we love kpop boybands (FTW!), we are as crazy, and we love to shop BS!!! She's as familiar as me there! We've got alot more common topics I can't think of but I think it's awesome to find friends like that in poly. I've got my joce darling and now my balam princess eileen! HAHAHA. It's as if we could talk about anything! We spent around 3hours sitting down to talk and failed to realise the time! :P

Oh and since last time. I always didnt like my surname cos it was abit too rare! Eileen's dad is also a canto like mine so we both have canto surnames! & she actually pointed out my surname was nice cos it was korean-ish which I didnt realise! Haha not exactly koreans have kwong in their names but kwon. HAHAHA e.g Jo Kwon and BoA Kwon! Woahhh for once I think my surname doesnt sounds that bad! :B

TODAY
Happy Birthday niunai laopo! Was supposed to meet Kat and rest of gm people to celebrate her bd, but many were caught up with work or school, so ended up response wasn't that good. I thought it would be better if she celebrated with her bf or else i think it would be rather awkward. Haha nevertheless, really hope you have a great day girl, despite those comments we always like to shoot each other, still love you la xD It's our way of communication hahhaha!

Happy 18th Birthday Sweetie! :)
