It's the long awaited impromptu speech test today! I was feeling rather jittery about it since I didn't do my presentations well in my public speaking classes. I guessed I was feeling over-nervous and awkward to present in front of so many unfamiliar faces. ):
Early in the morning Don met me on bus 'cause he was really early, and shared a little about his impromptu test yesterday. His topic was so tough! "Common sense isn't very common." Like wth, who would have known! So don't worry Don, I'm sure you'll be fine! :) When we got a lift at the ground level at school, one girl joined last and the lift was overloaded. COMMON SENSE would tell that the last person should give up the lift. Apparently she didn't, so not automatic and Don went out and took the stairs instead. It's not about climbing the stairs or not but that's basic courtesy what .___.
Gary's lesson was quite entertaining as usual, always get to learn interesting new facts with him. :D Lectures after that were quite dry and finally managed to bear till lunch.
And there comes my impromptu! I opted to be the 3rd 'cause weihao and don said it's good to be the first few. I'm relieved I did! I got quite an easy topic I think, "If I had only 10hours on earth". I talked about me spending quality time with my family, trying sth which I might never consider doing - Bungee jumping (hahaha!) and meeting up with friends that I lied/hid truth from them to avoid any regrets. Supposed I spoke a bit fast, but I'm quite satisfied with my performance already since I didn't hold much expectations for it.
Great french cuisine for dinner hahaha. Here am I updating my blog and trying to finish up my draft of special occasion speech. (Yes I'm that chiong! :P) Want to finish assignments and stuffs asap so that I can finally have time for revision!
